This is the title to a book I just finished reading about a gringo captured by Noriega and subjected to 9 months of incarceration in Panama's infamous Modelo prison. He is the only known private citizen ever rescued by the  Delta Force. Wow, what a great read. I really could not put it down. It gives great insight into the goings on during those difficult of times in Panama and it shows there were many people of great courage who stood up against a ruthless dictator. The book only came out last year and most Panamanians I have spoken to about it did not even know what took place. Operation "Just Cause" was started 10 minutes early because of the rescue attempt by Delta. It was not an easy rescue with their helicopter being shot down twice while escaping the prison roof.
