Executive Summary ndash; The Justice Department charge Allen Stanford with conducting a criminal fraud scheme (ponzi scheme) for over ten years. There were alleged ties to Bernie Madoff. The allegations speak of sales of 8 billion Dollars worth of ldquo;high yieldrdquo; CDrsquo;s issued by the Antigua Stanford Bank. There is also a civil case pending against Stanford. The Justice Department can try to do an asset forfeiture case on Stanford to recover his money held in banks outside of the USA. Interesting case to watch unfold.
