Well now you can answer all those questions and learn to create ethnic foods that will with hold their own against any served in Panama. Welcome The Three Sisters Cooking School in the lovely village of El Valle de Anton now offering classes in Asian, German, Mexican, French and Italian cuisines. The courses includes an informative lecture, covering the historical foodways of each respective culture, and the intensive hands on preparation and production of classic dishes that will provide the culinary foundations for further self exploration. Classes are held at the home of Glenn and Reinhild Gamboa in El Valle usually on the weekends and are supervised by The Three Sisters. (more)


Glenn and Reinhild Gamboa are Culinary professional with 65 years of combined experience in the San Francisco, California area. They owed a restaurant in Yosemite, Ca. for ten years where they began offering classes and well as operating the Three Sisters Café, they moved to El Valle in 2006 and began instruction there in 2007. The schools curriculum teaches the professional nuances reformulated for the home kitchen, using common domestic appliances and utensils. Recipes are selected, formulated and taught based on the regional availability of sources here in Panama and previous students have stated how easy it’s been to duplicate the courses recipes at home.



Courses are from 4 to 5 hours the class fees of $50 per session include a comprehensive instruction manual, lots of grazing and perhaps a little cheap wine.
