Madrid, Jul 11 (Prensa Latina) Spanish Government President Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero will travel to Mexico on July 14 and Panama on the 17th to meet his counterparts, Felipe Calderon and Martin Torrijos, confirmed La Moncloa on Wednesday. A government press note noted this is Zapatero's first official trip to Mexico during Calderon's presidency and is in keeping with the priority relations between the two countries. The visit will take place within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the renewal of Spain-Mexico diplomatic relations and will have a strong political, economic and cultural content. The government president will also hold talks in Panama with Torrijos, whom he met during the October 2005 Ibero-American Summit. Spain and Panama have signed important economic and financial agreements of promotion and protection of investments and extradition for criminal offences.
