By Manuel Luna G. for La Estrella - Labor strikes, legal litigation, and little profits have forced thirty companies to close in Bocas del Toro, increasing unemployment. The alarm was raised by the President of the Board of Commerce of Bocas del Toro Venancio Caballero, who is alarmed by the situation and raised the possibility of additional closures.
Editor's Comment: Seems like the shine has gone off of the Bocas del Toro apple a little. Back in 2004 and 2005 Bocas was red-hot, and people were climbing over themselves to buy ROP mangrove swamps. Now, people have come to there senses somewhat. Bocas is remote.
