I am thrilled with and grateful for my network of extraordinary women. I am also an advocate of striving for balance in my life. Interaction with both sexes is important to me, if only for friendly conversational exchanges from time to time. In short, I like “people”, never mind the tiresome and judgmental categorizations to which we humans are so addicted. If someone is a positive thinker, stimulates my mind, and possesses a sense of humor, this soul contributes to making my day a more successful one. My question is this . . .
If available age-appropriate men do indeed exist, and they embrace the values, commonality, and depth of experience that a woman nearer their “number” can bring to a relationship . . . where are how can they be located? Or is it possible that they too ponder the subject of how to find us? In this age of Star Wars technology is there some kind of GPS gizmo that blinks in coordinates? Or do we stumble around blindly dragging unrealistic expectations and suffering subsequent defeats and disappointments while assuming fate will intervene? I tend to favor more pro-active methods . . .
While in the Sahara of “wait” mode my friends and I lead jam-packed lives. We watch our weight, exercise, and have new and interesting life-experiences.
Our brains and our bodies are seldom idle. Panama City is a wonderland of entertainment choices which single women can fully enjoy, even when not being coupled in the traditional male/female mode. There is no Ark to board requiring the two-by-two March of the Fertile, designed to sustain our species following The Flood.
Although global warming is most certainly thought provoking . . .
My mantra and creed, ‘This is not a perfect world”, is one by which I live happily. I am accepting of the many disparities in life on Planet Earth. Many of these amuse me. Some of them irritate me. A few make me downright livid. Most are totally out of my control, so I adjust to and accept the things I can’t change. I stay focused on the good stuff. I will continue to set free the child-like JOY in my life, with or without the presence of a man.
I am secure standing alone, utilizing my gift of seeing the humor in it all! In the meantime I have a whole lot of living left to do! And an unending supply of amusingly debatable topics about which to write . . .
